This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party tracker. Nothing you do here is recorded or profiled.
Pages are served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. Those logs belong to the hosting layer and are not used for any other purpose.
When you write to us
If you send an email, the address and the content are kept for as long as needed to answer, and to keep a record of support given on a paid module. They are never sold, shared or used for marketing.
Modules installed on your store
A backinstork module runs inside your own store and reads the data it needs to do its job: product records, media, shop settings. That data stays on your infrastructure. No module sends store data, customer data or analytics back to backinstork.
Where a module offers an optional feature that collects visitor data on your behalf, such as an email gate before a download, the resulting records are stored in your own database and you remain their controller.
Purchases
Modules are sold through the marketplaces of the platforms they serve, PrestaShop Addons and the Shopify App Store. Payment, invoicing and the personal data attached to them are handled by those marketplaces under their own terms and privacy policies. backinstork never sees your payment details.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to the data held about you, its correction, its deletion, or object to its processing. Write to the address below and you will get an answer within 30 days.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
